Job Duties:
Manage a quality policy and manual based on ISO-9001 standards
Develop and implement related quality procedures
Manage internal and external audits to ensure adherence to procedures
Manage vendor quality, including contract manufacturing performance and issues
Manage incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality control
Create and implement quality improvement plans
Manage employee training program for both quality-related and other corporate procedures
Manage and develop company’s manufacturing strategy to support its business needs.
Improve operations efficiency and reduce cost via improvements in operations and vendor performance (continuous improvement process)
Assist with supplier qualification from a quality perspective
Support NPI activities with quality related input including component selection, DFM, DFT, validation testing, and manufacturing processes
Establish and maintain production and purchasing policies.
Manage production test and inspection processes to ensure delivery of conforming product.
Qualifications:
Experience in a quality management role in the electronics manufacturing industry (either CM or OEM)
Excellent spreadsheet skills
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Experience with ERP / MRP software is a plus
High output, high accuracy, eager, growth-oriented attitude with a sense of urgency and team spirit
