Are you an experienced craftsperson with a passion for fine details and expert craftsmanship? Susan Lind Chastain Inc., a high-end custom curtain and shade workroom located in the vibrant Mission District of San Francisco, is seeking a sewing specialist (Seamstress/Seamstress) to join our team.
About Us:
At Susan Lind Chastain Inc., we pride ourselves on creating bespoke window treatments for discerning clients. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and design, using the finest materials and techniques. Join us in producing beautiful, custom Curtains, Roman shades and other window treatments for some of the most elegant homes in the area.
Responsibilities:
Expertly fabricate curtains, pillows bedding and roman shades, utilizing a variety of sewing techniques
Work with precision to ensure proper sizing, design details, and aesthetic quality of all projects
Collaborate with the design team to meet client specifications
Support quality control, ensuring all products meet the highest standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications:
Proven experience sewing Curtains, Roman shades or similar window treatments
Familiarity with s work is a plus
Sewing skills are highly preferred
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
