ExcelFab, Inc. is looking for a full-time, experienced estimator our precision sheet metal shop in Santa Clara, CA. Compensation will be based on experience and work history. Benefits include holiday pay, vacation, sick time, medical/dental plans and a 401k plan. The following requirements are a must have for all applicants:
- Experience in a sheet metal or CNC machine shop is MANDATORY
- Ideally, a prior estimator is desired, but we are willing to train office staff or even floor staff to estimate
- Knowledge of all sheet metal processes and how they are related to production (punching, laser cutting, shearing, welding, forming, hardware installation, deburring, etc.)
- Familiarity with using an MRP system is a plus and familiarity with Shopkeeper MRP is very advantageous
We are also looking for general office employees with experience in a machine or sheet metal shop. Understanding of MRP systems or familiarity with purchasing, order entry, quality control, or other shop tasks is desirable.
