Job Description
Reports To: Supervisor or Manager Level
Summary:
Perform manual and clerical duties related to receiving, inspection, storing, kitting and delivery of a variety of materials and supplies. Manage and perform daily shipping and delivery duties.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Prepare kitting for manufacturing.
Prepare kitting for distribution.
Perform inventory audits as required.
Perform customer deliveries and supplier pick up’s.
Coordinates the handling of materials received or shipped by Silpac.
Serves as liaison with other departments or units in the resolution of day-to-day shipping and receiving issues. E.g. report shipping receipt discrepancies.
Compiles records of items purchased and delivered.
Follows established policies and procedures and objectives.
Take ownership over procedures related to packaging, shipping, and kitting.
Operate a forklift as required.
Invoice as necessary.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 2 – 5 years of related work experience.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Business Works software and navigate through shipping web site is a plus.
Knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations is a plus.
Certified for Hazardous materials shipping/handling
