RAVIG INC is a telecom construction company in the process of closing down a warehouse and return and relocate materials to another smaller location in Pittsburg. Selected candidate must have valid driver license and will be required to pass a pre-placement drug screen and background check. This is a 3 month temporary hourly position.
Job Requirements:
Must be at least 25 years of age (for vehicle insurance purposes)
Must possess a current valid California Driver License
Must have clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Must be able to handle and maneuver a variety of materialssingle items weighing up to 75 lbs and pallets (utilizing pallet jack) weighing up to 2,000 lbs.
Must have legal right or authorization to work in the United States
Must be able to Pass Drug Screening
Additional qualities considered an advantage:
Current, valid California Drivers License
Bi-lingual in Spanish
Experience driving truck with trailer
—Experience in doing basic repairs of vehicles such as oil changes, tire rotation
Warehouse experience including forklift and pallet jack usage
Attention to detail
Core Job Duties:
Palletize equipment and strap properly
—Organize warehouse bins, sort steel and other material and inventory
Drive truck with trailer to pick up and drop off material as needed
Collect scrap and other disposable material and make dump runs
Verify packing slips with material pickups
Keeping accurate and complete delivery and maintenance records and logs
Cleaning and organizing Warehouse
Assisting crew with loading product to vehicles as needed
