Our client in Livermore, CA, a leader in engineering and manufacturing, is seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Specialist. This role involves managing materials, parts, and assemblies through shipping operations, expediting material flow between departments, and maintaining records. Responsibilities also include handling materials, receiving products, delivering to the production floor, and supporting inbound shipments.
As a Warehouse and Logistics Specialist, you'll receive:
$26 - $27 hourly wage to start - Based on your direct warehouse and logistics experience
Potential for Overtime opportunities
Amazing DAY-SHIFT
Monday - Friday 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM (Sometimes could go to 3:30 depending on business needs) OT $
Comprehensive individualized training programs focused on personal and professional growth.
This position will be a temp-to-hire role, meaning after your probationary period, if you have met the required criteria, and demonstrated good attendance, and job performance, you will be offered a permanent position.
As a Warehouse and Logistics Specialist, you will be required to:
Manage order fulfillment for small parcels, LTL, and freight shipments
Ensure fast, accurate processing and compliance with shipping policies
Prepare and upload shipping documents for LTL and international shipments
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments between internal departments and locations
Handle order processing, including sorting, consolidating freight, and loading and unloading with forklifts and pallet jacks
Maintain accurate records, assist with inventory restocking, and ensure safety procedures are followed.
