A Simple Gesture is a "home food donation program". It's new to the Bay Area. The idea is simple, a household leaves a bag of food on their doorstep and volunteers pick it up and take it to a local pantry.
We are seeking someone to help us register donors. The project is to contact organizations (we provide that information). You then contact them and help craft a program where they encourage their members or customers to register, in exchange we provide them an "incentive fee". Typically this is donation to the organization's non-profit cause, but in the case of retail it can also be a discount off the price of merchandise. For example, a health club takes $10 off a membership fee, or a store $10 off at the register. Or a church that sends an email to everyone in the church, and they get a $10 donation for each person that registers.
We posted this job two ways; one is by results ($2 for each donor registered) and the other is an hourly fee. This is the hourly fee, but you can do it either way. This is $25/hour.
