Development Associate

Turn your passion for wildlife into meaningful action. WildCare is seeking a Development Associate to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience with donor stewardship, events, capital campaign support, and more.

What You’ll Do
● Assist with donor acknowledgments and stewardship to ensure every supporter feels valued.
● Conduct prospect research and reporting to inform fundraising strategies.
● Provide event support for fundraising and donor events (occasional evenings/weekends).
● Maintain project documents for the Elevate WildCare capital campaign and annual giving.
● Collaborate on data hygiene in Salesforce NPSP and assist with direct mail/in-house mail logistics.
● Act as liaison with the wildlife hospital and education teams to ensure accurate donor communications.
● Monitor wildlife patient intakes and fundraising platforms and respond/outreach to community members as needed.
● Manage the tracking and solicitation of auction items.
● Collaborate on department social media content and engagement.
● Perform other administrative and support tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For
● Donor relations or customer service experience.
● Strong writing, proofreading, and attention to detail.
● Stellar workload prioritization and time management.
● Comfort with Google Workspace; Salesforce or CRM experience a plus (training provided).
● Graphic design skills (Canva and InDesign) a plus.
● Live in or near Marin County
● Team player and supporter, strong communicator, and enthusiastic about WildCare’s mission.
