The Development Manager is a dynamic, creative, and organized person who is interested in helping a mission-driven nonprofit thrive and grow. This position will play a critical role in corporate sponsorship sales and event admin and logistics for A Healthier WE and the Healthy America 2025 event. The Development Manager is defined as a 1099-NEC independent contractor position.
This position is responsible for developing and assisting with the growth of sponsorship sales and administrative functions for A Healthy America national conference, being held in April 2025 in Omaha, Nebraska. They will play a critical role in ensuring revenue goals are met for various fundraising areas. The Development Manager will begin as a part time position (20 hours per week) and report to the CEO and Chief Impact Officer.
Must be a self-starter, ability to work independently when needed, and have experience with fundraising and sales. Must be willing to do both strategic and tactical assignments as required. Must have experience with the Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint). Will work remotely, on Zoom, and onsite in San Francisco when required.
