Peace-It-Together Counseling Agency- LSW- Part-Time Remote Position Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Program Director, this position has the primary responsibility for providing supervision of MFT Trainees, PCC’s, AMFT’s. The clinicians will primarily be working with Medi-Cal clients, Enhanced Care Management members and New Skills and Choices Parenting program. Mental health services include CBT and person-centered care, providing developmentally appropriate mental health treatment; coordination of care with Social Workers, and other collaterals; maintaining a written record of treatment, account ledger, including initial assessments and treatment plans.

Supervision responsibilities include direct oversight of mental health clinician’s work; quarterly reviewing clinicians notes, assessments and treatment plans to ensure compliance with Medi-Cal requirements; providing weekly guidance and assistance with the treatment of clients and weekly triadic and/or group supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities: Individual (triadic)supervision of mental health clinicians and interns. Oversight of clinician’s administrative duties in order to meet Medi-Cal requirements including meeting required deadlines. Oversight of clinicians’ clinical work

Keeping current BBS required documentation as it relates to supervisees. Attend monthly supervisory meetings and periodic trainings Follow regulatory guidelines, mandated reporting, and program/agency protocols in performing duties.

Keeping CEU’s and insurance current.

Qualifications and Characteristics Desired: LMFT, LSW or LPCC from accredited graduate program. Must be licensed with BBS and eligible to supervise.

Must have completed 15 hours of supervisory education-CEU.

(Meet BBS requirements for supervision) Excellent clinical and writing skills. Supervision experience preferred. Understanding of basic theoretical and developmental principles of trauma and community-based mental health. Ability to work independently and to work as a member of a team. Excellent organizational, computer and communication skills.

Professional and highly responsive to trainees needs pertaining to BBS documentation.

Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the Supervisor regularly works virtually.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work We are currently seeking 2 hours of triadic supervision per week to oversee trainees in from the School of Social Work.
