GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Nutrition Program Coordinator holds primary responsibility for the following program areas, Congregate Nutrition, and Home Delivered Meals in compliance with Kimochi, Inc. and health and food safety policies and requirements.

Monday – Friday: 8 hours per day (40 hours per week)
Work Time: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
SUPERVISION GIVEN AND RECEIVED:
This position does provide direct supervision to staff, and is supervised directly by the Director of Programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Meal Site Coordination: Acts as a front line supervisor for congregate meal service at the 1840 Sutter Street site. Responsible for the coordination and management of all food service operations: recruits, trains and supervises food service volunteers; assists in hiring food service personnel; trains and conducts evaluations of kitchen staff; works with head cook and the nutritionist to coordinate work schedules, menus, and food ordering; monitors food costs and food quality, develops annual in-service training for staff and volunteers; records daily participant statistics; counts and records daily donations with volunteers; answers participant inquiries.
Home Delivery Coordination: Supervises volunteers; compiles statistical records; coordinates intakes and assessments with the Social Services Coordinator; coordinates delivery schedules; coordinates services with the Meals on Wheels Clearinghouse.
Manage the Nutrition Program contracts and goals
Assist with Agency fundraising activities.
