ABOUT THE JOB
Personal Development Navigators provide one-on-one guidance to individuals with disabilities as they work towards their personal goals and overall independence. Activities can range from teaching cooking skills to a young adult who lives with their parents, to providing conflict resolution between roommates, to motivating a person towards their exercise goals by going on hikes.
This job can be part time or full time, $20-23.50/hr depending on experience and caseload. Shifts vary between 9am-7pm at locations throughout Marin. Weekend and weekday shifts are available.

Paid time off each year:
Vacation accrual: 7.5 to 20 days, depending on tenure
Holidays: 12 days (10 company holidays, 2 you can use at any time)

Part time:
Commuter stipend up to $53/month, depending on distance of commute

DUTIES
Partner with clients as they work towards their goals, such as transportation, domestic skills, socialization, financial skills, personal health and hygiene
Keep detailed progress notes after each session and update the client's file on the computer
Complete and submit all forms on time
Attend case conferences with clients, families and other agencies
Attend staff meetings to discuss current cases and brainstorm creative solutions to challenges
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic computer literacy, specifically with Gmail and Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Valid identification, such as Real ID, driver’s license, or passport, required. A
background check will be conducted.
