The Associate Teacher is responsible for the implementation of the established curriculum for the children, ages 18-months up to 3-year-olds, in the CANV Kids Development & Family Program. Come join our team to meet the individual needs of each child and to prepare them for kindergarten. An Early Childhood Education Associate Teacher Permit is required for this position.
COVID-19 protocols will be in place. Health screenings of staff and children will be administered daily. Napa County Public Health and California Department of Health recommendations will be followed including wearing masks, social distancing and respecting a safe cohort.
$1,000 sign on Bonus - $500 upon completing your three-month introductory period and $500 after completing 6 months. Previous or current employees are ineligible.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Must have an Early Childhood Education Associate Teacher Permit
3 units in Infant and Toddler care required
Ability to work as a team member
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative workplace relationships
Ability to interact courteously and tactfully with people of diverse backgrounds and interests
Ability to evacuate children in a safe manner during an emergency and be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Qualify for CPR Certificate and First Aid
Must pass State Criminal Record clearance
Must show proof of a negative TB test within the last 60 days
Must be available to work full-time
