Silicon Legal Strategy is a boutique law firm providing targeted, bottom-line-oriented advice to technology startups, innovative entrepreneurs, and seasoned investors. Silicon Legal opened its doors in late 2007 with one lawyer and a part-time paralegal. Headcount is now over 50 and we've opened offices in Los Angeles, Denver, and Austin. We've built some very solid relationships and are seeing more and more opportunities. The prospects for growth are incredibly strong.

Our clients are thriving in this environment as well. Over the past five years, we advised clients in over 2,000 VC/Angel financings and 125 acquisitions. Dozens of clients have been profiled in Forbes, Inc Magazine, The New York Times, Billboard Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, USA, Today and on Good Morning America and the Today Show. Our clients are doing deals with Amazon, Facebook, eBay, Paramount Pictures, Adobe, MTV, American Express, Universal Music and others. On the investor side, we represent over 50 prominent VCs and angels. We are consistently across the table from the Valley's powerhouse law firms.

We have an opening for an administrative assistant and responsibilities include:

Be the face of the firm/first point of contact for clients and employees alike at our SF Headquarters,

Answer phones, manage incoming and outgoing mail, and maintain the Reception Area,

Manage and order office meals, grocery deliveries, and office supplies,

Manage and maintain the copiers and postage machines,

Inventory and organize private offices and electronics,

Assist with logistics for firmwide or cohort-wide events,

Keep the kitchens and lunch area tidy, maintained and stocked,

Maintain and schedule conference rooms,

Coordinate with the Administrative Operations team and building management on work orders,

Work with Finance to process checks on a regular basis,

Work with Executive Assistants and Partners to prep employee and client gifts, and run ad hoc errands for various team members,

Schedule, track, and receive courier deliveries,

Calendar ongoing client board meetings as needed,

Add and maintain building and suite visitor lists with the security desk,

Support the Administrative Operations and IT teams as needed on event set-up, new hire onboarding and employees or client mailings, and

Support paralegal and legal admin teams with scanning, faxing, copying, mailings, and other projects as needed,

Make trips to USPS, FedEx, UPS.

Requirements:

Minimum of four-year degree or three years in a corporate office environment (no law firm experience necessary),

Advanced proficiency working in Microsoft Office Suite,

Excellent communication and organizational skills,

Dedication to client service,

Ability to work independently, be proactive and solve problems and learn new things,

Diligent attention to detail,

Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment,

A sense of humor, and

An energetic personality.
