Administrative Assistant/Receptionist (Construction)

Overview:

The successful candidate will become an integral member of our general contracting team by assisting in the day to day activities to ensure successful project completion.

Responsibilities:

Manages, organizes, coordinates, and controls new job start up functions of projects assigned

Provides general administrative assistance as required to ensure successful project completion

Organize and assemble job files, project binders, prepare related office and superintendent files

Supports and enforces all company safety policies and procedures.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Motivated, multi-tasker, friendly, team player

Strong organizational, detailed, and personal communication skills

Enjoys fast paced office environment.

Residential construction experience desired

Knowledge of and experience using Buildertrend (construction software) desired

Minimum 2 years office experience desired

Ability to interact and communicate effectively with clients, employees, etc in a pleasant + professional demeanor,

Manage incoming calls, handle daily mail and package deliveries

Perform general data entry, filing and distribution of documentation

Coordinate office supplies and place orders when necessary

Support all departments with administrative tasks as needed.

Microsoft Office Suite experience (Word, Excel, Outlook) desired

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work in the U.S. and possess a valid driver’s license.

In office. Mon-Fri 40hrs per week expected.

We are a small, but growing Building company. Focused on residential remodels and ADU's throughout the east-bay. Our office is located in the heart of Temescal, Oakland.
