DNA Lounge - Hiring Office Assistant

Seeking full time Office Assistant for DNA Lounge Nightclub in San Francisco!

Job Description:

The ideal candidate has experience working in the unique office environment of a San Francisco entertainment venue.

This is a hybrid position that would require at least 2 days per week of onsite work, and other work may be done remotely. This position will serve as an integral part of the DNA Lounge team and provide administrative, facilities, and light HR support to the General Manager. They will also provide excellent customer service to the public.

Administrative Duties:

- Greet visitors

- Check and respond to general inbox emails daily

- Mail processing (2-3x per week)

- Handle all queries, comments, and complaints or escalate to appropriate person as needed

- General administrative support for the GM and owner

- Schedule meetings and appointments

- Manage staff calendars

- Special projects as directed by the GM

- Devise, implement, and document processes to improve office operations and procedures

- Devise/improve filing systems for optimal record keeping

- Organize company events

Light HR Duties:

- Gather necessary tax forms from vendors and employees

- Create/maintain vendor and employee files

- Review applications to identify qualified candidates

- Perform candidate screening interviews as needed

- Assist with new hire orientation as needed

Merchandise Duties:

- Organize merchandise and keep an updated inventory

- Order/reorder merchandise as needed

- Fulfill orders

Facilities:

- Organize and tidy office and storage areas

- Purchase office supplies and keep an inventory

- Troubleshoot facilities and office equipment issues and/or coordinate vendors to repair problems as needed

- Review utility bills for anomalies (such as abnormally high or low bill) and investigate/troubleshoot

- Assist with lost and found items (such as communicate with customers, coordinate item pick up, etc)

Event Support:

- Coordinate with photographers and schedule photography coverage for events

- Assist with event booking inquiries

- Assist with event calendar management

- Follow up with customers regarding questions and recurring events

- Devise ways to improve and streamline processes for event bookings

Compensation:

Hourly Position, $27-30/hr depending on experience
