Proctor (Invigilators)’s duties in brief are:
Set Up - Invigilators set up rooms and other equipment before all exams start
Set Back- Invigilators set back rooms and return equipment after the exam
Administration – Invigilators check out exam papers and other materials from exams office and carry out admin work before all exams start
Checking-in – Invigilators must conduct thorough check-in on candidates
Invigilation and security of papers
Suitable candidates should have the following experience, qualifications, and competencies:
Ability to plan time methodically and carry out instructions carefully
Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions from the supervisor
Basic use of technology
Ability to deal with customers in a pleasant and professional manner
Punctuality
Efficiency
Alertness and attentiveness
Confidentiality
Conduct and responsibility in performing their tasks
Flexibility
Applicants must be eligible to work in America and be able to work 5-to-7.5-hour shifts, starting at 7:45 am on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Invigilators will be paid $18.50 per hour.
Selected applicants will need to fill an application form, provide CV and two reference letters. Previous experience of invigilation will be a plus!
