Fitness destination located in the heart of Richmond, California seeking friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team and provide exceptional customer service to our members and guests.
Position Overview:
As the Front Desk Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for members and guests, creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere. You will be responsible for greeting visitors, answering inquiries, processing memberships and payments, and assisting with administrative tasks as needed. Responsibilities:
- Greet members and guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Answer phone calls and emails, providing information about club services, class schedules, and membership options.
- Process new memberships, renewals, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for members.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including keeping supplies stocked and equipment tidy.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions securely and accurately.
- Schedule appointments for fitness assessments, personal training sessions, and other club services.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing membership reports.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or receptionist role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse individuals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel and ability to learn club management software. Expierence with Canva a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for health and fitness and a desire to promote a healthy lifestyle to others.
