This position includes everything from packing and shipping delicate glass, organizing inventory, some lifting of boxes, unpacking shipments coming in to warehouse and general office work. Prior experience with packing and shipping, a plus.
We import Italian glass and handmade Italian products and ship them all over the world. The tasks are varied and include skills such as:
Ability to organize and track inventory
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to bend, squat, lift and maneuver packages up to 40 lbs.
Willingness to learn and grow into other positions
General computer skills such as Excel, Word and general computer navigation
Strong work ethic
We are looking for a person who will enjoy our small environment and can be gentle enough to not break the glass but strong enough to handle the packing and shipping needs.
Position will be 2-3 days a week/ 7 hours a day and will begin as soon as possible.
