We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Desk Clerks! Candidates should be comfortable working in the Tenderloin and SOMA neighborhoods of San Francisco, which are known for their unique challenges, including a diverse population and a high density of social services.
Job Description:
Under the direction of the Property Manager, the Desk Clerk will be responsible for:
Managing communication (both verbal and written)
Monitoring people entering, exiting, and moving about the building
Handling building/medical emergencies or resident situations skillfully
Writing Work Order requests
Keeping the reception area clean and neat
Enforcing building policies (Lease, House Rules, etc.)
Observing and reporting tenant/visitor infractions
Inspecting the property as required by the Property Manager
Qualifications:
The ideal Desk Clerk must relate well to people, exercise good judgment and discretion, and provide a pleasant and calm presence while interacting with residents, staff, vendors, and visitors. Teamwork is essential; the Desk Clerk is expected to collaborate with other site staff to ensure smooth operations and a cooperative atmosphere.
