An exciting opportunity is available for an Operations Coordinator at a real estate and property management company based in the Peninsula, which is focused on managing and improving a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties.

The company is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator for a contract position who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn and grow. This position is ideal for someone who has a strong eye for detail, enjoys managing and improving processes, and has fantastic customer service skills.

You will work closely with our team to handle day-to-day property management, ensure smooth interactions with tenants, and keep all systems running efficiently. While property management experience is helpful, we’re really looking for someone who is highly organized and ready to dive in and learn the industry.

Role & Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of property-related tasks, including tenant inquiries, lease documentation, and move-ins/move-outs.

Work alongside tenants and vendors to ensure their requests and needs are addressed promptly and professionally.

Manage communications and scheduling related to inspections, maintenance, and vendor coordination.

Keep property files organized and up-to-date, ensuring all documents and records are easily accessible.

Assist with vendor relations, including soliciting bids and ensuring compliance with contracts.

Ensure smooth operational flow by managing internal systems and processes related to leasing and property operations.

Help maintain up-to-date knowledge of market and property management trends and help create strategies for improving operational efficiency.

Conduct onsite property inspections and walk-throughs to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with company standards.

Perform various administrative tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For:

3+ years of experience in operations, customer service, or administrative roles. Property management experience is a plus but not required.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep track of multiple tasks and projects at once.

Proficient with Word, Excel, and various modern technology platforms (e.g. Zillow).

A positive attitude with a focus on providing excellent customer service and proactive problem-solving.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for travel to assigned properties.

Our Ideal Candidate:

Eager to learn and develop new skills within a dynamic industry.

Self-motivated and thrives in an environment with multiple tasks and shifting priorities.

Strong attention to detail and proactive in identifying areas of improvement.

Tenacious, able to tackle challenges head-on and stay focused on the most important tasks.

Excellent at prioritizing and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.

Enthusiastic about building strong relationships with tenants and service providers.

Comfortable with learning the basics of real estate management/property management over time.

Fluency or working proficiency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Bonus points if you're handy and enjoy learning about home/property repairs

Position Details:

25-30 or more hours/week. You may work occasionally on weekends for property showings or appointments as needed.

$35-$40/hour (depending on experience), paid bi-weekly. Please note that this is a contract role.

This is not a remote position. You must be able to come into our office in Redwood City.

To Apply:

We’d love to hear from you! Please send your resume and a cover letter that outlines your experience and demonstrates why you’re the right fit for this position.

We are committed to creating a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex (including pregnancy and related medical conditions), marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, genetic information, veteran status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or any other legally protected characteristic.
