Who we are: a small, West Berkeley business that manufactures scientific research equipment. We have an extremely friendly workspace and fun aura.
Candidate(s): We are currently seeking someone who is positive, task-forward, organized, and willing to learn to join our growing business and team.
What responsibilities are in store? Tasks include, but are not limited to:
Easy assembly and testing
Data/Order Entry
Order checking
Occasional errands
Answer phone and door
Shipping and receiving
Ordering inventory
Weekly office sweeping and vacuuming
Additional office chores as necessary to keep a smooth workflow
Previous experience working in an office environment and/or using FileMaker, Quickbooks or UPS.com would be helpful, but not necessary; we are open to training the right candidate for the position from the ground up.
Starts: February 2025
Hours: 20 hours per week (likely to expand). Working hours are
flexible, but ideally between 10 AM-2 PM Monday thru Friday
Pay: $19/hr (first raise in 3 months)
