Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, creative, and efficient Administrative and Marketing Assistant to support a world musician and team/leadership experience designer. This is a unique opportunity to work with a passionate, talented team and contribute to their artistic and professional success. This role requires a proactive individual who can assist with various administrative tasks, marketing support, and research initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate a strong ability to organize tasks efficiently, and maintain a patient and positive demeanor in professional interactions. They will be a holistic thinker with the ability to organize complex and diverse ideas for easy visual comprehension.

Responsibilities

Research

- Identify performance opportunities, funding opportunities, and conference keynote opportunities relevant to fields as diverse as music and wellbeing, creative engagement, employee wellness and belonging, and cutting-edge learning and leadership development for organizations.

- Conduct market research on organizations, colleagues, and best practices within the industry.

Design/Editing

- Perform basic iMovie editing tasks.

- Utilize Canva to create eye-catching marketing graphics.

- Compose and edit social media posts and emails

Marketing Support

- Assist with creating an engaging social media presence on platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube including text, images, and strategic tagging form a SEO and targeted biz development perspective

- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies for both B2B (corporate: transformational leadership, business transformation, creative engagement, immersive learning programs) and B2C markets/channels (general public, music as medicine, global medicine music, music for healing and well being)

Administrative Support

- Keep the CEO organized and on track with calendars and task management using a visual dashboard approach involving Google Docs and Apple Notes.

- Coordinate travel arrangements and create detailed itineraries.

Schedule meetings, create agendas, and manage calendar appointments.

Website Management

- Help with website redesign (i.e., content gathering and light design tasks).

- Serve as an intermediary between the CEO and developer.

Business Development and Outreach

- Identify and connect with influential figures in the music and leadership/team building spaces.

- Craft outreach messages and connect with contacts for potential gigs or presentations, or collaborations.

Qualifications

- Passion for music and the arts

- Previous experience in administrative support, marketing, and biz dev roles preferred.

- Proficiency in basic editing software such as iMovie and graphic design tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, and Photoshop.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively.

- Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing strategies.

- Use of Mac OS, fluency with technology, and willingness to support the employer with tech use.

- Experience with website management (WP) and basic design tasks is a plus.

- Preference for someone in Pacific time zone
