IBS has been in business for over 30 years with customers in the U.S., Europe, Japan, South Korea, China, and other locations, with increasing emphasis on AI.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research on critical topics in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on AI.
Utilize ChatGPT, Perplexity AI, and DeepSeek to supplement research.
Prepare and analyze numerical data using Microsoft Excel (expertise in Excel is important).
Edit written reports using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, such as data entry/typing, creating tables, and proofreading to ensure clarity, accuracy, and professional quality (minimum 40 wpm typing speed).
Support team members in a variety of tasks, including office management tasks as well as supporting the CEO.
Maintain the utmost level of security and confidentiality.
Requirements:
Expertise in the semiconductor business is essential.
Highly detail-oriented (accuracy is critical).
Filing, field phone calls, typing emails, errands to local stores (reliable mode of transportation required), order/stock office supplies.
Excellent English grammar skills.
Manage deadlines proficiently.
Will require working in the Los Gatos office eight hours a day, Monday through Friday.
Punctuality/On-time is mandatory.
