We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will prepare accurate individual and business tax returns while providing professional, client-focused service and maintaining full compliance with federal and state tax laws.
Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and compliant individual and business tax returns.
Help clients maximize deductions and credits while staying fully compliant.
Analyze financial documents and identify potential tax issues.
Provide professional, client-focused tax guidance.
Stay up to date with current tax laws and regulations.
Protect client confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.
Assist with IRS and state correspondence when required.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced tax season environment.
Requirements:
Prior experience preparing individual and/or business tax returns preferred.
Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Excellent communication and time-management skills.
