Job Description
We are seeking a self-motivated, friendly, part-time onsite Property Manager to oversee a small portfolio of residential properties in San Francisco. Flexible work schedule with approximately 20 hours per week. The candidate must live onsite at one of the company’s apartment complexes in the Marina district. The person selected for this role must always carry a cell phone and respond to emergency calls (including after hours) promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
-Maintenance Requests: Responding to maintenance requests and coordinating the scheduling of maintenance quickly (including after-hours emergencies).
-Leasing: Posting ads as directed daily and responding to inquiries quickly and scheduling/performing apartment tours promptly. (we have a full-time leasing agent, so this is secondary/backup role for now)
Other Responsibilities
-Scheduling vendors for maintenance requests
-Move in and Move out checklists
-Communicate with residents
-Enforce house rules and regulations
-Picking up trash (if any) and calling for maintenance if anything at the property needs attention
-Post notices and notify tenants when instructed
-Maintain prospect traffic, leasing data and other data
-Interface with residents in a professional manner
Experience and Qualifications
-Apartment management and/or leasing experience a plus but not required
-A primary flexible job (real estate agent, sales, or a work from home job are good examples)
-A car to drive to nearby properties
-Driver’s license and insurance
-Ability to text, email and communicate orally a must
-Basic understanding of maintenance
-Highly organized and responsive

Compensation
Rent credit of up to $1115 and hourly pay between $25-30/hr. Pay is commensurate with experience. Mileage reimbursement
The apartment
The candidate must live onsite at one of the company’s apartment buildings located in the Marina. The apartment is an oversized studio with garaged parking space.
