Budtenders are the heart and soul of the customer experience at Cannabis21+. They are
responsible for educating customers in clear, concise consultations and with expert product
recommendations. The Budtender role is a sales position that requires superior active listening
skills as well as the ability to ask strategic questions in order to move through the sales process
efficiently. This is not a cashier position. Budtenders report to Managers on Duty (MODs), and
ultimately the retail store’s GM.
Foster an effective, consultative selling approach.
2. Educate customers on the different strains of cannabis, their medicinal uses, and methods
of consumption.
3. Deliver consistent, superior customer service, experience, and satisfaction.
4. Maintain superior product knowledge across all product categories.
5. Accurate cash handling and inventory management.
6. Achieves daily sales goals.
7. Process customer purchases using the dispensary’s Point of Sale (POS) system.
8. Participates in maintaining the dispensary in a clean and well-organized
9. Participates in daily cycle counting, while keeping the dispensary adequately
faced/stocked.
10. Remain informed on new cannabis products and industry trends.
11. Address customer complaints and operational issues promptly.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.

Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
Proven experience working as a Budtender or in a similar customer service role.
Valid marijuana worker’s permit or license (if required by state law).
Strong knowledge of cannabis strains and their medicinal benefits.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
