Position Available for Entry Level Lab Technician
Previous experience is not required.
We are a wholesale tincture production company located in downtown San Anselmo, Ca. We service licensed healthcare practitioners around the US and also offer a formulation service. This is not a cannabis dispensary and this is not a warehouse job.
Applicants must be comfortable working with ethyl alcohol, aromatic essential oils, vinegar, and handling plant material. The position available is a physically demanding job and applicants must be able to work on their feet all day, be comfortable going up and down ladders, and must be able to lift 40lb buckets up to 4 feet off the ground. Steady hands are also necessary.
Primary duties include: operating a hydraulic press, using large capacity blenders, washing production materials, working with delicate glassware, accurately measuring fluids, and repeatedly filling bottles with fluids.
Applicants must be safety conscious, have an attention to detail, perform consistent record keeping, and be comfortable with supervision and following procedures. Though not required, previous experience with botany and botanical nomenclature is helpful.
This position can be full-time(30-40hrs/week) or part-time(18-30hrs/week), We operate Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm and work schedules can be flexible. Wages begin at $20/hr and benefits are available for full time employees. Employment begins with a 30 day trial period.
