We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented seamstress or tailor to join our friendly, family-run dry cleaning business. If you take pride in precision sewing and enjoy helping customers look their best, we’d love to meet you.
Schedule (set days):
Sunday: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Monday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
Wednesday: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
(Additional hours may be available during training or occasionally as needed. Applicants must be available all three days.)
Responsibilities
Perform standard alterations: hemming pants, taking in seams, sewing buttons, repairing zippers, shortening sleeves, etc.
Assist customers with drop-offs and pick-ups, including taking accurate alteration measurements and notes.
Process payments and organize garments for cleaning or tailoring.
Keep the front counter and work area neat, clean, and efficient.
Occasionally run local errands for the shop.
Requirements
Sewing, tailoring, or alterations experience required (dry-cleaning or clothing-repair shop experience a plus).
Clear communication and professional customer service skills.
Reliable, honest, and able to work independently.
Valid driver’s license for occasional errands.
English proficiency (basic conversational level minimum).
Compensation
$18–$22 per hour or on commission, depending on experience and skill level.
