Fulfillment Operations Manager

We seek an organized, detail-oriented individual to join our team as the Manager for Fulfillment Operations at our unique, community-focused kink and leather shop. We run a thriving online business where you'll play a crucial role. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of our online fulfillment team, directing the team's operational pace and tasks. You will be directly responsible for training and ensuring the team follows procedures and policies to accurately and timely ship Mr. S Leather's gear to our worldwide customers. You must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task.

We love our gear and the joy it brings to our customers. As the Assistant Manager, you will ensure every order is handled with the understanding and respect it deserves, acknowledging the deep value and excitement our products bring to our customers.

Required Duties and Responsibilities

Perform daily oversight of the fulfillment lifecycle, prioritizing accuracy, speed, and safety.

Direct the team's day-to-day operational pace and critical tasks.

Effectively motivate the team to achieve departmental goals.

Train the team and ensure procedures and policies meet expectations.

Ensure team members are trained on floor and equipment safety and build a strong safety culture by prioritizing safety first.

Resolve harmonization codes, backorders, POS Holds, and Sync Queues to ensure timely order processing and correct inventory.

Document and update receiving, shipping, and fulfillment procedures.

Manage inventory tracking and reconciliation process.

Manage stockrooms and maintain stock levels at all sites consistent with business needs.

Ensure the department is adequately stocked with supplies and equipment.

Develop strong partnerships with department managers, creating and updating procedures to maximize improvement.

Manage all controllable costs to maintain profitability.

Recruit, train, and coach the team members and identify improvement areas.

Plan, monitor, appraise, and review the job contributions of team members.

Approve PTO requests and ensure payroll accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Minimum of three years of experience in fulfillment or warehouse operations.

Minimum of three years of management experience.

Proficiency with order management software, spreadsheets, and email.

Excellent coaching and active listening skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Great process improvement skills.

Team-oriented and positive attitude.

Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.

Strong time management skills, punctuality, and reliability.

Ability to adapt, multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a changing environment.

Comfortable working in a diverse, sex and kink-positive environment.

Ability to lift 75 lbs.

Required Educational Level, Equipment/Software Experience or Certification

Experience with point-of-sale and inventory management software.
