Saga Musical Instruments designs, produces, and distributes many of the instruments that are part of the new Golden Age of Musical Instrument Production, driving the industry forward. We are looking for trained set-up technicians who share our vision and enthusiasm for the string and fretted instruments we create. Some of the iconic brands coming through our shop regularly include:
Gold Star Banjos
Kentucky Mandolins
Blueridge Guitars
Cremona Violins, Basses, and Cellos
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of the structure and nomenclature of string and fretted instruments.
Understanding of the basic elements of string and fretted instrument set-up.
Skills to effectively use the necessary tools for our set-up requirements.
Ability to perform light repairs, finish detailing, violin peg installation, and bridge fitting.
Attention to detail and ability to work with other team members to meet established priorities.
