Hi! We’re Sockshop Haight Street, a bad-ass female owned and operated retail store that sells socks, legwear and gifts for women, men, kids, and everyone in between at 1742 Haight Street in San Francisco. We love socks, probably too much, and we’re excited to bring that sockthusiasm to customers every day. These are not your dad's white tube socks- we’ve scoured the world for the most colorful, fun, and unique brands out there. Do you love socks as much as we do? Well we’ve got news for you: we’re hiring!
The position is seasonal part-time to start (about 10-15 hours / week), with more hours available when holiday shopping gets busier in December. Oh, and did we mention the 40% employee discount? Weekend availability is a must for this position and sales associates start at $19.00+ per hour, depending on experience.
The right candidate is someone who loves socks, is positive, enthusiastic, and great at starting up a conversation with a stranger. Retail experience is preferred, but not required. Our business is growing and we’ve got some new fun projects up our sleeves, so we’d love to find someone who has a passion to go above and beyond and learn new skills.
