Position Overview:
We are seeking a part-time Retail Associate to support our store in San Anselmo. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, organized, and passionate about pet nutrition. This role involves assisting with retail sales, managing inventory, fulfilling online orders, and engaging with customers to provide information on our product offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in-store, answering any questions about our raw pet food, supplements, and holistic health products.
Handle cash register duties, process transactions, and manage daily sales reports.
Pack and label bulk treats for in-store and online sales.
Manage inventory of packed treats, ensuring accurate tracking of stock levels.
Fulfill online orders and prepare items for shipping or customer pickup.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
Stay informed about Marin Raw's product offerings to provide excellent customer support and recommendations.
Assist in store opening/closing duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Prior retail or customer service experience, preferably in the pet industry or a health-conscious environment.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Comfortable handling basic physical tasks like packing, lifting up to 30 lbs, and stocking shelves.
Passion for pet health and knowledge of raw pet food (preferred but not required).
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
Available to work flexible part-time hours, including weekends.
