Bay Area Retail store is seeking a project manager to oversee the exit strategy of business from the market. We are seeking a candidate for part-time, contractual position, with some time spent on-site overseeing the project, interacting with employees, and communicating with stakeholders. Duties include working with current management to develop a timeline for exit from the market keeping in mind the following:
-Marketing plan
-Final sales
-Customer appreciation event
-Liquidation of equipment
-Human Resource Management
-Closing of accounts and contracts
-Clearing of property
-Final details of closure
We are seeking a candidate skilled in project management that is highly organized, skilled in working diplomatically with multiple stakeholders, experienced in dealing with employee and customer concerns, who communicates effectively and efficiently. Experience with closing a business and working in the agriculture industry is preferred. Hourly rate to be negotiated and commensurate with experience.
