Retail Sales Associate/Representative

Spice Sensuality Boutique is seeking outgoing and professional sales associates who want to contribute to the lives of our customers through accurate and non-judgmental education about sexual health and wellness products.
We are a small business that prides itself on our sex-positive environment and excellent customer service, which redefines what an adult-shop can be. Each of our employees play a vital and comprehensive roll in our team, and as such strong social skills, effective multi-tasking, and positive attitude are essential to success in our company. This is a sales position in a retail store but we rely on each staff member provide more than just what a register clerk would do.
Duties include:
Providing excellent customer service while maintaining a safe space and total confidentiality of personal information shared in the store. Engaging customers, determining their needs, and informing them of products that meet those needs. Demonstrating consistent punctuality, dependable availability, and professional wardrobe.
Maintaining the accuracy of your information through ongoing self-education about the adult industry and adult products through classes, reading, on-the-job training, and other means as available.
Keeping informed about sales promotions and goals.
Operating a computer cash register, completing transactions and daily reconciliation accurately.
Multitasking effectively, and contributing to the organization and cleanliness of our sales floor, including daily and weekly tasks. Using down time efficiently to make our boutique inviting to our clients.
Processing product, including steaming, tagging, restocking, and merchandising. Carrying out other duties assigned by supervisors in a up-beat and efficient manner
Time Commitment:
Sales Associates may be hired on a full time or part time basis with hours varying accordingly. Overtime is required as needed. The position is non-exempt. Our busiest times are evenings and weekends and we hire accordingly. We are an equal opportunity employer.
