Position: Seasonal Hire (Part-Time or Full-Time)
Duration: October – Mid-December
Wage: $20.00/hour
Role: Seasonal Embroidery Machine Operator
Shifts: Must be available for weekend shifts. Operating hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 9 AM - 5 PM.
We are seeking an experienced Melco EMT16 Plus Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in garment construction and embroidery, with proven experience operating embroidery machines efficiently. This role is critical to our operations, and we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about delivering quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
Operate Melco EMT16 Plus embroidery machines to embroider logos, monograms, and designs on various products (hats, bags, polo shirts, backpacks, etc.).
Ensure all products meet high-quality standards.
Maintain a fast-paced, organized workspace.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Additional duties may include operating a heat press, retail sales, and fulfilling online sales orders. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years experience with Melco EMT16 Plus multi-head modular embroidery machines.
Experience with Design Shop Lettering, Editing, and Digitizing, including vector graphics.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship (This position is located on a federal government facility).
Must be 18 years or older.
Background investigation required (No felony convictions or open investigations allowed).
