Below is the JD for Co-driver or a data logger:
This is a bit technical job. You will not be the main driver there will be a designated professional driver. You might be expected to drive a little bit some time but not much.
Rate: $18 to $20 per hour on 1099.
Must be legal to work
A valid US driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
At least 3 years of US driving experience to perform the job safely.
Must be comfortable to data log along with primary driver and work in varying weather conditions.
Having a knowledge of US driving for data logs in different driving scenarios is a big plus
Ability to operate data acquisition system as needed. Suitable training will be provided by the client.
Must be able to work in 8-hour shift (7.00am to 3.30pm or 12.30pm to 9.00pm)
Vehicle will be driven for about 230km/shift and if required should be flexible enough to work overtime to meet daily target.
Use of navigation (Operate an electronic device for GPS) applications to determine the best route or follow the provided instructions.
Ability to operate the client provided computer to update project data in MS Excel or web applications.
Interact with customers and peers professionally at all times.
Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
Take care of vehicle maintenance as needed.
Keep mileage records and maintenance records up to date.
