AK Scientific is a small R&D chemical reagents supplier in the San Francisco Bay Area that has been serving pharmaceutical/biotech, CRO, novel technologies/materials, and academic organizations worldwide for 20 years. The company provides a comprehensive range of bioactive small molecules, analytical references, reagents, building blocks, advanced intermediates, and bio & specialty chemicals. Our goals are to support customers to develop new medicines, vaccines, novel materials, and related scientific research to benefit all human beings, and to help our employees progress personally and professionally. We are currently looking for a Product Specialist for Products Management, Business Development, and daily operation.
Our business hours are from 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. The initial job duty will be in one of the following areas:
1. Work with QCQA/Purchasing/Receiving for products specification and business development
2. Developing new products and improving current products listing; analyze products to enhance catalog and inventory
3. Chemistry support for sales, customer service and whole operations.
Requirements:
1. BS, MS, or Ph.D. degree in chemistry or closely related fields, some working experience in any fields would be welcomed
2. Strong computer and data management skills
3. Reliable, organized, and attentive to details
4. Basic business sense and Chinese skill can be a plus.
