BASIC FUNCTION
To ensure a safe and secure environment in all areas of the Levin Richmond Terminal property and facilities. This is an unarmed position.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Patrol all areas of the terminal to ensure property and facilities are protected from fire, intruders and other hazards.
Identify emergencies, notify appropriate internal personnel and external response teams and assist with all emergency responses.
Ensure all external access gates are closed and locked at specified times.
Enforce Coast Guard and Homeland Security regulations and policies.
Monitor and operate public truck scale
.
Prepare accurate shift logs.
Perform and report on routine water meter readings.
Perform other related duties as required.
Overtime required. Candidate will need a valid driver's license, a clean driving record and be able to obtain and maintain a valid Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC).
