Blackhorse Security is accepting applications for experienced Unarmed Security Officers to provide unarmed patrol security services at the Charles M. Schulz – Sonoma County Airport.
The following shifts are available:
Wednesday - Sunday 2pm-1030pm
Unarmed Security Officers shall perform all tasks in accordance with the duties outlined within the Post Orders and the Performance Work Statement.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Maintain order and security, and remain professional, courteous, and respectful
Arrive on time, completely outfitted, and ready for duty
Adhere to customer policy and maintain confidential data
Assist in inspection of interior and exterior of building
Complete building inspection report
Assist customer at entrance scanner
Patrol halls throughout buildings
Monitor for suspicious items or activities
Respond to calls for assistance, as needed
Provide breaks/relief to security staff
Monitor parking lot and employee entrance/exit.
Complete daily logbook entry
Ensure the safekeeping of all keys, access cards, fobs, and codes.
Qualifications
Eighteen (18) years of age
High school graduate or equivalent certificate
Current and Active Driver’s License.
One (1) year of experience in security/law enforcement work.
Must possess a California Security Guard Card
Must undergo a fingerprint based Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) and Security Threat Assessment (STA) in accordance with TSA regulations.
Complete a background check with no clear criminal record, and not on any type of probation, no convictions or charges for any form of domestic violence
Must obtain and maintain an Airport Security Identification Display Area at all times (company provided)
Ability to speak, read, and write the English language clearly and concisely
Read, understand, and apply printed rules and directions
Stand and/or walk for an entire shift, and climb stairs
