Job Description:
1. Access control - Preventing unauthorized access, and managing parking
2. Crowd control - Monitoring crowd density, directing traffic withing the event space.
3. Surveillance - Observing attendees and surroundings for suspicious behavior, potential threats, or safety hazards.
4. Incident response - Addressing disruptions, altercations, medical emergencies, or security breaches and reporting to
relevant authorities.
5. Communication - Maintaining clear communication with event staff, other security personnel, and emergency services.
6. Report writing - Must be able to document incidents, suspicious activities, and security concerns in detailed reports.
7. VIP escorting - Providing security detail for high-profile individuals attending the event.
8. Perimeter security - Patrolling the perimeter of the venue to deter unauthorized entry and identify potential security
vulnerabilities.
Required skills and qualifications:
1. Physical Fitness - Ability to stand for extended periods, walk long distance, stand or walk in the rain, stand in cold
weather, stand in hot weather, and respond quickly to situations.
2. Observation Skills - Keen attention to detail to identify potential threats.
3. Conflict resolution - Effective communication and de-escalation skills to handle confrontations peacefully.
4. Decision-making - Ability to assess situations rapidly and make informed decisions under pressure.
5. Customer service - Professional demeanor to interact with attendees in a positive and helpful manner.
