Support role in DTC (direct-to-consumer) sales at Thomas Fogarty Winery, a small independently owned boutique winery. This position will be in support of our sales through Wine Club, Tasting Room and hosted events for customers. While it will be largely a support role, it will involve some independent work and autonomy. Ideal for someone with Customer Service and sales experience in the F&B sector or someone who has CS/Sales experience in any arena and wants to broaden their horizons in a "premium goods, high-level customer service" Food & Beverage setting.
Necessary experience and abilities:
Applicant should have experience working with and selling to customers in an environment where Customer Service is a focus.
Applicant must be detail-oriented and be able to complete tasks rapidly and thoroughly.
Applicant must be able to learn about our business, history, and identity.
Applicant must have experience (or be willing to learn) about wine, viticulture an winemaking.
Applicant will need to learn and use our POS and inventory software.
Applicant will need to work collaboratively with different individuals in different departments.
Applicant must be able to lift and move 40lb objects (40lbs is the weight of a case of wine).
Applicant must be able to work some weekends when sales events are held at the winery.
Applicant must have transportation and be able to drive to and from our vineyards on Skyline Blvd in Woodside.
