Qualifications:

ISA Arborist Certification, or minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.

You are required to obtain certification within 6 months of hire; we will cover the cost of the exam and assist you in preparing if you have the appropriate background

3 years + Sales experience preferred

Bay Area Regional plant and horticulture knowledge

Valid driver’s license

Good people skills and team communication skills

Self-motivated: ability to plan, prioritize and manage time and resources efficiently

Proficiency with computers and applications - ability to manage affairs; schedule and write estimates utilizing our CRM

Must be knowledgeable and experienced with standard phases of tree care, (i.e. hazard tree evaluation, PPE use and safety, industry approved tree care practices)

Pre-employment Drug Screen and Social Security verification required

Compensation, Benefits & Perks:

Compensation will be based on a commission structure: $65,000-$75,000 annual draw based on experience PLUS commission

Expected income with commission $100,000-$140,000 per year. Income increases with time as your client relations develop; you control your own success with our support

Responsibilities Include (but aren’t limited to):

Sales & Estimates -

Estimates time/cost for crews to perform tree removal, pruning, landscape cleanup, stump grinding, cabling

Creates accurate written proposals and contracts using CRM

Ensures the customer, as well as the foreperson and team understand objectives and details of project

Selling, marketing, customer service, administration, production, and training

Work with your immediate supervisor to clarify personal sales expectations and work to achieve sales goals

Field Team Scheduling & Project Oversight -

Schedule work, dispatch and direct crews to complete proposed projects

Supervise work to be performed. Ensure jobs are completed based on the contract agreement to the client's satisfaction

Client & Environment Engagement & Satisfaction -

Meet with existing and potential residential and commercial clients daily to evaluate their tree and shrub care needs: have ability to survey a client's landscape holistically and make recommendations based on what's best for their specific "miniature ecosystem".

Develop and maintain client relationships within the your territory Prepare and provide proposals to clients utilizing company CRM and other technologies as needed

Job Safety & Compliance

Implement and maintain safety and transportation compliance programs with related crews

Follow up with relevant forepersons and office team to ensure ongoing safety attention, weekly tailgate meetings, and accurate / timely incident reporting.
