We are seeking an energetic, people-focused Sales Associate to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who loves fitness, enjoys connecting with others, and thrives in a fast-paced, community-driven environment.
Position Overview
The Sales Associate supports the studio’s daily operations with a specialized focus on membership sales, client experience, and front-desk responsibilities. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for all clients, maintaining strong retention, and helping potential members find the right fitness plan for their needs.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Membership Growth
Greet prospective clients, provide studio tours, and confidently explain Pure Barre class formats and membership options. Meet or exceed monthly sales goals for memberships, retail, and class packages. Conduct outreach, follow-up calls, texts, and emails to leads and trial clients. Maintain strong product knowledge of membership tiers, promotions, retail items, and studio policies.
Client Experience
Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all clients. Assist clients with account setup, booking classes, and navigating the Pure Barre app. Provide personalized recommendations for class plans, retail, and progress pathways.
Front Desk Operations
Check clients into class and manage waitlist flow. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, retail area, and common spaces.
Open/close the studio depending on shift. Support instructors with class setup and operational needs.
Retail Support
Promote and sell apparel and accessories. Help merchandise and maintain the retail area. Process transactions accurately through the point-of-sale system.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service, communication, and people skills.
- Previous sales experience preferred (fitness, boutique retail, or membership-based services a plus).
- Friendly, professional, and enthusiastic personality.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to learn studio systems quickly (ClubReady, Mindbody experience is a bonus).
- Availability for morning, evening, and/or weekend shifts.
