The position of National Account Manager requires a reliable and outgoing individual with excellent organizational skills, professional phone etiquette, and the ability to multitask. The ideal candidate excels at managing their sales pipeline including identifying prospects, onboarding new clients, and maintaining a book of business. You will act as the point of contact for clients and carriers. This is an onsite position in Soquel, CA.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Full-cycle client relations: prospecting, qualifying, onboarding, and maintenance
Creation and maintenance of a Sales Pipeline
Obtaining quotes from multiple sources
Negotiate carrier and client contracts, including rates and payment terms
Communicate (email and/or phone call) performance expectations to carriers for each shipment
Creation of Bills of Lading
Tracking and Tracing Shipments
Filing Claims
Organization of Load Board
Client and Carrier Billing
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in a quota carrying role
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills
Able to multitask and respond to immediate requests
Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
Organized with strong attention to detail
Punctual
Highly motivated self-starter
