THE COMPANY. Art Stream Videos is a pre-revenue, art advertising startup based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We create short AI-assisted “Ken Burns Effect” videos from HD images provided by our artist, photographer and gallery subscribers. We manually curate and organize the videos into streaming media playlists for playback on our Art Stream Video art channels on Roku, Vimeo, and elsewhere.
ROLE DESCRIPTION. The Director of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for monetizing our platform. You can work remotely. This will primarily involve marketing and selling Art Stream Videos' standard and custom services to art galleries. You must also be alert for opportunities selling custom solutions to venues that want to associate their brand with art and photography; for potential partnerships with companies offering complimentary technical services; and online art galleries interested in providing new video services to their customers. You are free to build your own team.
COMPENSATION. We offer large commissions to someone with the energy, passion for art, and interest in artificial intelligence to work with a streaming media art startup with global ambitions. This is a part or full-time remote position depending on your personal circumstances and desire for flexibility. At this stage of our development, this is a 100% commission/1099 contractor position. However, your income is only limited by your creativity, productivity, and ability to leverage social and AI technologies to your advantage. We also offer a significant equity opportunity. The Director of Sales and Marketing will transition to VP of Sales and Marketing with additional equity potential.
QUALIFICATIONS.
Social: Instagram, Meta, X
Strong art or photography background
Excellent English language communication and interpersonal/presentation skills
Advertising sales experience
Self-motivated and target-driven
Technical: WordPress, Adobe, HTML, MailChimp, HubSpot, the MS-Office Suite, Google Analytics, SEO
Additional pluses: experience in the commercial art industry, Digital Signage, or OTT advertising.
MISC.
You can keep your current job and move from part time to full time at your own pace. The core team consists of the Founder, a Senior Media Architect, a Roku channel development company in New York, and several contractors. This position is perfect for someone who lives in an area with a both a high density of art galleries and tech companies, such as San Francisco/Carmel, New York City, Boston, Miami, Austin, Denver, or Santa Fe.
