Overview
We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in computer science, data management, and AI technologies to support litigation. A legal degree is not required; however, this role is essential in helping to organize, process, and analyze large volumes of case-related data and documents, as well as to provide technical support for complex litigation.
Responsibilities
Organize, structure, and maintain large volumes of case files.
Assist the team with litigation support, including but not limited to legal writing and research, discovery, metadata analysis, and evidence handling.
Support motion and trial preparation by creating technical summaries, timelines, and database reports.
Ensure all digital evidence and case files are securely stored and easily retrievable.
Collaborate with the legal team to translate technical findings into clear, legally relevant reports.
Manage case deadlines.
Apply AI and machine learning techniques to identify patterns, trends, and relevant evidence within case data, etc.
Perform other tasks as needed to support litigation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field.
Strong background in computer science to assist with legal research, writing, data management, and machine learning.
Strong English language skills (written and verbal).
Familiarity with databases or digital forensics preferred.
Ability to process and organize large, complex datasets.
Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to a legal audience.
Interest in law, litigation support, social justice, civil rights, or legal technology is a plus.
Ability to follow detailed work instructions and collaborate effectively with the legal team.
