We love pets and we love technology! We are building a really cool pet safety service for pet owners. We are a team of 3 and will launch in April 2024. We build both hardware and software.
We are far past the 'idea' phase and ready to launch a world class product. This is NOT for interns. We are looking for a rock-star. We require high quality, seasoned, outstanding professional engineers to join our dedicated, dynamic, smart and growing team.
THE ROLE:
You will lead the build with the support of the founder and engineering team. You must be an AWS expert to build out the CI/CD, sharply security focused with ample security-related projects under your belt, and an API expert.
We are looking for a seasoned Principal Engineer or Engineering Manager (or Engineering Lead) that will take a highly visible, lead position to manage the engineering team.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Solid knowledge of web technologies such as React, NodeJS, TypeScript, GraphQL, Tailwind CSS, Express/Apollo Server
- Knowledge of API fundamentals and best practices and SQL databases
- You must be an AWS expert
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skill set
- Experience working on front-end architecture design and building SPA applications that are scalable and highly available, a solid understanding of software design patterns will help
- 5+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years as a senior software engineer
PREFERRED SKILLS:
· Knowledge of Storybook or Chromatic is be a plus, but not required
