We are looking for a fully certified pilates instructor to add to our team. We have an instructor moving and this is a great opportunity to walk into a built up schedule with the opportunity to add on. You will be working amongst high quality, experienced instructors in our busy, fully-equipped studio, with dedicated clientele. We offer private and semi-private instruction, as well as small group apparatus classes.
We have a wonderful community of loyal clients and instructors that we have built up over the past 30+ years. We are located in the heart of downtown Palo Alto on Emerson Street. You will be surrounded by many restaurants, coffee shops, upscale boutiques and additional small businesses that make our community thrive. Our studio is beautiful, inviting, and well-equipped with Balanced Body machines and props.
Our greatest availability needs right now are:
Mondays 7am-11am & 4pm-7pm
Wednesdays 7am-11am & 4pm-7pm
Fridays 7am-1pm
Saturdays 9am-12pm
Sundays 9am-12pm
We are open to adding any additional days/times to one or more of those as well
Requirements:
Seeking a friendly, professional instructor to work part-time with the potential for full-time.
Certification to teach on all apparatus equipment is a must, we are a classically based studio and our clients are used to a rigorous workout and a strong foundation of the classical work with fun contemporary additions
Experience in other modalities (e.g. yoga, strength training, gyrotonic, rehab, pre/postnatal etc.) is a plus.
Ability to work 1 evening and/or weekend (our greatest demand right now)
Personable and professional, makes clients feel motivated and able to reach their goals
Compensation is commensurate with experience. We offer base pay for group classes with the additional incentive per additional client. Our pay rates are highly competitive for the Bay Area. We hire as employees (we pay a portion of taxes and sick pay) and full-time staff are eligible for benefits (health, dental, vision).
