Who we are: Serendipity is a skincare studio specializing in the hair removal technique known as Sugaring. Established in 2021, we quickly became a popular and trusted resource for this natural method. We are excited to expand our team to accommodate our growing fan base of dedicated sugaring clients! We are in the Healing Arts Building between San Francisco's Lower Pac Heights/Japan town neighborhoods. The HAB houses a plethora of healing practitioners, from acupuncturists to massage therapists to psychotherapists. It is a friendly and supportive community of like-minded individuals.
Who we're looking for:
We are hiring a part-time or full-time Esthetician who preferably has experience with the sugaring technique. Ideally, you have 1-3 years of experience as an Esthetician and want to specialize in Sugaring (+ if you already do!). We are looking for a professional, detail-oriented self-starter with excellent time management and communication skills who is excited about skincare and hair removal.
The Position:
Serendipity is in a one-room suite, meaning you'll work autonomously during your shifts. You'll be responsible for opening and closing procedures, client services, payment collection, and scheduling, i.e., pre-booking at the end of appointments and responding to client requests during your shift. Depending on experience, learning objectives and additional training will be established as needed.
Alternative Room Rental Option:
We are also open to an established sugaring practitioner with their own business looking for a rental arrangement. Ideally, this option would be part-time. Please enquire if you are interested!
